The Real Reason Why Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi Shoot In Agra Wrapped Up Early
While Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi, has been surrounded by controversies from the get go, several reasons led to a delay in its Agra schedule. SpotboyE.com brings you the details
Ever since Sanjay
Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi, went on floors in Agra, the film has been marred
with controversies.
To begin with,
fans thronged the location of the film’s shoot last month, so much so that it
became impossible for the security cover to manage them. As a result, makers
had to cancel the shoot.

Soon after,
Sanjay’s bouncers allegedly roughed up media persons while Team Bhoomi was
filming in at a location close to Taj VIP Road. This lead to a complaint being
registered against the actor. Post the incident, producer Sandeep Singh had
gone on record to say that he is unsure if the crew will continue to
shoot in Agra.
The team headed
next to Chambal for a few days and while fans were delighted to see the team
all smiles as they went on with the shoot, SpotboyE.com can tell you that the
makers had to wrap up the Agra schedule earlier than planned and the chaos in
the city is only one of the reasons.

We hear, 2 more
factors contributed to the shoot terminating in advance. Firstly, director
Omung Kumar’s mother-in-law passed away during that time and he had to rush
home to be with family.
The second reason
behind the lag was Chandrakant Sonawane. He is one of the costume designers for
Bhoomi. Interestingly, Chandrakant is also assisting the costume design team in
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
SpotboyE.com has
learnt that this designer couldn’t balance Bhoomi and Padmavati that resulted
in several costume blunders on the former’s set.

Says a source,
“There were instances where Sanjay was made to wear loose and un-altered
clothes. The actor, however, didn’t create a fuss and politely requested the
costume designer to fix it. Aditi, on the other hand, wasn’t so cooperative.
She lost her cool on design assistants several times.”
When contacted,
Omung appeared to be living in denial and simply said, “Nothing as such.”
At the moment,
Team Bhoomi is in Mumbai and the rest of the film will be shot in Film City,
which involves recreating Tajganj (an area in Agra).
